Google has introduced three new Nexus devices in three different sizes.

The Nexus 4 is its smartphone-sized device. It has a zippy quad-core processor, a 4.7″ display, and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the latest version of Google’s mobile oeprating system.

The Nexus 7 is Google’s mid-size tablet. A 16 GB model is $199 and a 32 GB model is $249. For those who need wireless connectivity on the go, high-speed data options are also available.

The Nexus 10 is Google’s flagship tablet. It features a 2560×1600 resolution, making it ideal for watching movies or reading magazines. The battery will run for nine hours and provide 500 hours of standby time. Google also boasts that it’s a “shareable” tablet, meaning you can have multiple users log in and maintain their own settings on it. It’s a good solution for a family who wants everyone to have their own user experience on the tablet.

Google’s Nexus line of devices are designed and branded by Google but built by hardware partners who bid for the business. They’re different from the devices made by Google’s Motorola subsidiary. (Google could in theory pick Motorola to build Nexus devices, but it hasn’t done so with this batch.)

2600 V2 Ivy Bridge CPU

Source: http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/17/intel-roadmap-reveals-10-core-xeon-e5-2600-v2-cpu/

DNP Intel roadmap outs ten core Xeon E52600 V2 ten core Ivy Bridge CPU

Intel may have recently spilled its Q3 guts for 2012, but we highly doubt that the chip maker planned on outing its forthcoming projects for next year. An alleged internal slide makes the claim that the silicon giant plans to introduce a 10-core Xeon E5-2600 V2 Ivy Bridge-EP CPU in the third quarter of 2013. Compatible with Socket R LGA 2011 motherboards, this brute will max out at 20 threads through HyperThreading. Packing 30MB of L3 cache, this unannounced Ivy Bridge supports up to 1866MHz of DDR3 system RAM. If these specifications have whet your appetite, the Xeon E5-2600 V2 is only the tip of the iceberg — Chipzilla is said to also have a 12-core processor in the pipeline as well.

Is This the Samsung Galaxy S III

Source: http://gizmodo.com/5895148/is-this-the-samsung-galaxy-s-iii

Is This the Samsung Galaxy S III?According to GSM Helpdesk Netherlands, this is Samsung’s next superphone, the Galaxy S III. The image is supposedly an official press shot, and the the timing makes some sense, since it’s about a year since we first saw a leak about the Galaxy S II.

GSM’s tipster also includes some specs that have been floating around for a while, like a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, a 4.7-inch 720p Super-AMOLED screen at 313ppi, and a 12MP camera. May 22 is mentioned as a launch date, which jibes with some recent rumors and the May 22nd date on the phone’s home screen. The phone looks really nice for the many fans of humongous phones with humongous specs. [GSM Helpdesk via BGR]
